As a child, Jimmy never dreamed of being a fireman or a police officer. Instead, he started clamouring for his first camera at the tender age of seven. 20 years later, after holding several assistant jobs, he started working for Mikael Jansson. He remained there for two years before finally deciding to go solo.
Jimmy has taken photos for magazines such as Self Service, Eurowoman, Bon, Elle and Hot Rod, and worked on campaigns for clients such as Anna Holtblad, Triumph, Cancerfonden (Swedish Cancer Society) and Orange.
His lighting is highly creative and he uses it to generate the unique atmosphere that permeates his pictures.
